Using clay exclusive to the Fes region, artisans follow a meticulous process: drying the clay for 20 days, soaking and shaping it, firing at 2000°C, painting with natural pigments, glazing, and firing again for a durable finish. The tile designs are inspired by ancient Moorish patterns, executed by skilled Nekkach artists and assembled with traditional “la resin” technique.
