The clay used for Zellije tiles is sourced exclusively from Ben, near Fes, Morocco. After a 20-day drying process, artisans shape, bake (at 2000°C for 8 hours), hand-paint with natural pigments, and glaze the tiles before a final firing. Designed by master Nekkach craftsmen, the tiles are assembled using “la resin,” ensuring durability and exquisite beauty rooted in centuries-old tradition.
Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the natural glaze and pigments.
Each Product is made to order and takes approximately 15 days to craft. Once ready, shipping takes 2–3 business days.
