These zellige tiles are made from a special clay sourced exclusively in the Fes region. After drying for 20 days, the clay is cleaned, shaped, and fired at 2000°C, then glazed and fired again for a lustrous finish. The surface is coated with natural mineral pigments, and each tile is assembled using the traditional “la resin” technique. This tilework is a true expression of Moroccan culture, passed down through generations of Nekkach artisans.
Use these vibrant blue tiles to create a luxury statement backsplash, add detail around your mirror or sink, or even use them as accent tiles in fireplace mantels or wet bar walls. Their reflective glaze and rich hues add depth and dimension to any interior project.
